Glenn Park in Maghull was already a popular spot, featuring an infant play area, a MUGA, a climbing frame, and a basket swing. However, there was a real opportunity to build on this by adding equipment that encouraged even more active play and skill development. To complement the existing facilities, we introduced a timber trim trail designed to challenge balance, coordination, and agility positioned near the existing climbing unit to create an exciting flow of activity. Using high-quality timber not only added natural beauty but also blended perfectly with the surroundings, creating a welcoming and sustainable play space. It's a fantastic example of how adding the right equipment can breathe new life into a playground, helping to attract more children and families and showing how a carefully considered trim trail can be a real asset for any park.
We recently revisited Glenn Park while working nearby, and it’s great to see how well the equipment and timber have stood the test of time. This park is completely exposed to the elements sun, rain, frost, wind, yet everything still looks as good as new. It's a real testament to the quality of materials and craftsmanship, ensuring a long life and proving to be a great investment.
