Strength & Fitness

Trim Trails are a perfect addition to any sized playground and to promote physical play. Each piece of equipment helps to strengthen and refine major muscle groups of the upper and lower body and core as they go!

Balance & Coordination

Balancing along the 'Zig Zag Beams', Gripping on each of the rocks on the 'Traverse Wall', Navigating across the 'Tyre Traverse' as they move and putting one foot in front of the other down the 'Slalom Beam' all help children to build up spatial awareness and the hand eye coordination.

Imagination

Trim Trails are a great way to create a place for lots of imaginative play & encourage children to let their imaginations run wild...for example they might imagine the floor is water and they're trying not to touch it whilst moving across the Log Bridge or as they navigate the along the Trapeze Walk they might imagine they're swinging through trees in a forest.

Motor Skills

The challenge of getting from A to B on a trim trail helps children to develop and growth their gross motor skills, such as grabbing the ropes on the 'Half Height Scramble Net', holding onto the hand rails on the 'Log Bridge' and moving along the 'Tyre Traverse'.

Mental Well Being

Playing outside on physical play equipment is therapeutic, reduces stress and anxiety alongside promoting socialisation and sensory processing.

Social & Confidence

Being in the playground inspires children to move outside their comfort zone, whilst strengthening their social development and communication skills whilst playing.
